Marnie Harris

Choreography (Matilda Jr, 2027)

Dance has been part of Marnie's life for as long as she can remember. She began formal training at just three years old, studying ballet, tap, modern, jazz and hip hop, before discovering a love for commercial and contemporary dance, which remain her greatest passions. Marnie trained at Gielgud Academy of Performing Arts and Aspirations and is currently part of the Trinity Laban Centre for Advanced Training, where she continues to develop her artistry. Along the way, she has been fortunate to perform with an inspiring range of choreographers and companies, including Liam Francis, ZooNation, Ceyda Tanc Dance, The Dome Brighton, BHASVIC Dance Company, Poppy Tremlett and Charlotte Edmonds.

Matilda the Musical Jr. holds a special place in Marnie's heart, having played the title role in her school production in 2022 before returning to the show in a variety of creative roles, including Assistant Choreographer for Cumnor House Sussex's National School Theatre Award-winning production. She is absolutely delighted to be joining the TMT team as Choreographer and can't wait to help bring this wonderful story to life with the talented young cast.
